About False Island Lodge

A little bit about the operator and head captain at False Lake Lodge. My name is Mitch McGraw, and I was born and raised in Sitka, Alaska. I have owned my own boat since I was 11 years old, and knew that I wanted very much to be in the fishing industry. We opened this lodge to offer not only the famous fishing of Sitka Alaska, but to offer much more for our clients.

So we came up with False Island Wilderness Lodge located in Peril Straights. With all of the activities to do after the fishing, it makes every thing a whole lot more fun. Would you prefer sitting in a hotel, or out taking pictures of bears and trout fishing? Well I am at the lodge full time so I can ensure that everything goes smoothly for every one that chooses to visit us.
